Utah and Snowbird have some of the best horseback riding and trail ride country in the West. We invite horse lovers and horseback riding enthusiasts of all abilities to ride with us through some of Utahs most beautiful country.
During your horseback ride you will enjoy parts of Utah that hold beautiful scenery and are rarely visited, only 30 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City.
Our horses are gentle and trail broken. The wranglers work extensively with our horses and understand each horses personality. The horses are quarter horses and are from the same blood line. The wranglers have guiding and interpretive knowledge of the areas we ride. In the summer (July through October) we have horseback rides available at Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort, a short 30 minute drive from downtown Salt Lake City, Utah.
Horseback riding at Snowbird is a unique and adventurous ride that takes place in Mineral Basin. Your horseback ride begins and ends with a ride on Snowbirds aerial tram. Snowbirds tram will take you from Snowbirds base elevation of 8,000 ft. to the top of Hidden Peak, elevation 11,000 ft. After taking in the beautiful views from Hidden Peak you will be escorted via A.T.V. or 4X4 vehicle to the base camp in Mineral Basin. From there your wranglers will assist you with riding instructions and take you out on a 2 or 3 hour ride that you will never forget. You will be surrounded by High Alpine vistas, waterfalls, wildflowers and beautiful forest. Our wranglers are experienced and professional guides with first aid and C.P.R. rescue certification.
IGS loves to accommodate families and corporate groups that are looking for something unique and fun to do. IGS is also able to include lunch and other custom requests.

| Reservations and Cancellations: | |
Reservations need to be made at least 24 hours in advance. A credit card will be required to hold all reservations. Cancellations must be made within 24 hours of the tour time at no charge. Cancellations or no shows will be charged 50% of the total trip amount. |
