Utah is world famous for it' s diverse topography and climates, scenic beauty, and variable landscapes. Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort sits in the heart of the Wasatch Mountains, a short 30 minute drive from downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. Little Cottonwood Canyon, Alta, and Snowbird Ski and Summer Resorts are world renowned for deep powder snow and easy access to some of the best skiing and snowboarding terrain in the world.
Summer in Little Cottonwood Canyon at Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort provides experiences and outdoor adventure opportunities that are equally exciting. Facilities for corporate or large group events have been upgraded during the past several years and include new air conditioned guest rooms in the Cliff Lodge and newly expanded conference space. In addition to these improvements Snowbird has added several new summer activities to its list.
New activities available at Snowbird include, fly fishing, A.T.V. tours, horseback rides, alpine slide, euro-bungy, mountain biking, and mountain scooters. With a list of new activities like this, accompanied by great restaurants and comfortable rooms there is no reason to take your group anywhere else. Intermountain Guide Service is a concessionaire of Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort and offers guided A.T.V. and horseback trips at Snowbird.
Fly fishing trips take place primarily on the Provo River, a blue ribbon trout stream 40 minutes from Snowbird. Intermountain Guide Service invites you and your group to spend the night or come up for the afternoon and experience a safe, fun and memorable tour that can be custom fit for your family or Corporate group. Our location is convenient for groups staying in the Salt Lake City, Park City, Provo, or Heber City areas.
The new line-up of activities allows groups to enjoy adventurous and safe outdoor experiences that will be memorable and fun. Intermountain Guide Service can arrange transportation to the Provo River and we can also customize your trips to fit almost any request. Custom options we provide include, flexible scheduling, Dutch-oven dinners or lunch, entertainment, and overnight adventures. Let us know what you are looking for and we will do everything possible to accommodate your requests.
Corporate Options with Intermountain Guide Service At Snowbird
To whom it may concern,
Thank you for the opportunity to present our services. There are two popular options that I would like to propose. Also included is information answering specific questions that are often asked by large corporate groups.
Option #1
Last summer IGS was able to facilitate a large group using $100.00 vouchers. The vouchers were provided by IGS and were good for a 2 hour A.T.V or Horseback ride. The vouchers were handed out as clients checked into for their conference at Snowbird. On each of the vouchers, specific instructions explained how clients could reserve their rides. As the vouchers were collected we were able to provide daily totals, which was helpful for the group manager in monitoring the budget. When the conference ended we met with the event planner and we were able to settle the total bill within 10 minutes.
IGS will provide most corporate groups an all inclusive (2 hour tour, tax, insurance, gratuity) horseback and/or A.T.V. ride for $100.00 per person.
Option #2
IGS can accommodate a group event that will include A.T.V., Horseback, Dutch oven dinner, and Team Building. We are willing to work with Wasatch Adventure to provide our services together. We have not had an opportunity to coordinate with Wasatch Adventures as of yet. If this is the option you are looking for, yes! IGS can accommodate you, however, we will need time to coordinate with Wasatch Adventure in order to provide details such as pricing. There is a possibility to provide something very unique and exciting for large groups that will fit nicely within most budgets.
Here is some general information that will be helpful answering questions that are often asked. The age minimum is flexible but usually ends up around 5 years old for the Horseback or A.T.V. rides. There will be no minimum number required for our regular tours and the maximum number we can accommodate on any one tour is 15 on horseback or 30 (riding double) on A.T.V.'s. IGS offers two tour times daily 7 days a week. We have also received approval to accommodate early or late trips (using the tram) for larger groups 20 +. Keep in mind that we can accommodate larger numbers up to 90 if groups are willing to be transported to the bottom of mineral basin via 4-wheel drive. From there the clients can rotate and ride both the A.T.V.'s and the horses. (This is how we handled one large group last September and they had a great time.)
Please consider that in order to transport 90 people into Mineral Basin it will take some time. If this is the option you want plan on providing plenty of time for the event.
In addition to the A.T.V. and Horseback rides I want to mention Fly Fishing as another option for your group. Fly Fishing is a great group activity that can accommodate large numbers of people and we can include transportation for a good rate.
Please refer your interested parties and the meeting planners to our website www.intermountainguide.com for further information including tour descriptions for A.T.V., Horseback, and Fly Fishing. The website contains a corporate groups page that provides more useful information. Contact me at 801.592.0102 if you need any further assistance.
Thank you for your consideration,
Bryan Yadon IGS
